Remarc Guest House - Takeley

Spacious room with a large bathroom.

I found that the room lacked essential items like coffee and tea, quite disappointing. I was also unsure who to contact for more supplies as there seemed to be no staff available at the desk. It felt frustrating to have to rely on others for basic amenities when it should have been stocked properly.

Very clean and comfortable room and surprisingly no noise considering we were on a main road.

Ordered the contiental breakfast but wasn't impressed.

I am responding on behalf of spanish freinds who stayed at the Remarc,generally all round the feedback was good

Due to the early departure of the spanish people to catch flights to spain,the feedback mentioned no breakfast , I have explained that this is the nature of uk b&b with breakfast served at a sensible time , perhaps a note somewhere would clarify this for our european visitors

Ensure to check in advance about coffee and tea availability, as these were not provided .

The room.

We were not picked up from the airport even though I had called them in advance to let them know the time of arrival. The told us a taxi would be 4.5pounds but they did not mention it was per person, even though we had told them there was 2 of us. It made it difficult as we had limited cash on us. The staff was not very helpful.

Room was very clean with all facilities. Free WiFi available. Very nice garden if the weather would have been better.

Breakfast was not that good. No milk for cereals and no good selection. No service available to ask for something.

I loved how friendly the staff was and got to try some exotic food from them! The room was really big and had Netflix, made for a cozy night in. I slept like a baby and felt right at home. Perfect getaway for a night 😊

A wide range of goodies for breakfast. Great-sized and airy unit with a comfortable bed, affable staff. Lovely location in a residential area right by an airport area, a Tesco and bus stop and at very last minute...

bed was comfortable, loads of room, quiet, close to airport, shuttle service was excellent.

would of liked a choice of a full english breakfast instead of a continental breakfast. somewhere to sit outside.. chairs or tables would be great.

The staff were choice, and the room was massive with Netflix, but I missed having coffee available and it could've been better stocked. Sweet as for a night!

Not enough car parking spaces so I had to park on the grass verge outside. No receptionist that I saw but I was only there in the evenings

On the top of my list is hygiene and cleanliness which I found to be impeccable, as a recently single traveller I found the hotel very accommodating and comfortable.

As on this occasion I was only a 1-night guest, there is nothing to report.

Nice big room, but there was no coffee or tea available in my stay.

The location of the Guest House to the airport was great.

The check in time of 1800 was not great for us. Nothing much to do around the area.

The bed was pretty comfy, however I had been traveling all day since 5am and when I went for a shower the water did not go down the drain, I went to reception and no one was there to help me, I had to scoop all the water out with a cup that was provided in the room, this was not as relaxing as I had expected. Also the only time someone was at reception was when I checked in, I will not be visiting this guest house again.
